1996 Toyota RAV4
Toyota launched the Toyota RAV4 in the UK in June 1994 as a three-door only. Two versions were made available – the Toyota RAV4 and the Toyota RAV4 GX high specifications. The GX has two decks, central locking, adjustable steering column, electric mirrors, driver airbag and an immobilizer / alarm engine.
In March 1995, the entry-level three-door Toyota RAV4 was renamed as the new RAV4 GX GS and five-door model was introduced. The five-door model was 16 inches longer than the three-door with seating for five people.
The front seat belt pretensioners have also been introduced at the launch of the hatchback, and this system has also been the three-door Toyota RAV4 in September 1995. Wheel nuts have also been added as standard on all models Toyota RAV4 three doors in that time.
October 1996 saw a number of enhancements for all models Toyota RAV4, which included the installation of airbags front and a stop lamp retrofitting high and 2.0-liter 16v was re-adjusted to cleaner emissions, less noise and more torque. In December 1997, the Toyota RAV4 receives his first minor facelift since its launch. In conjunction with the facelifted RAV4 range, Toyota also introduced a convertible version of the three-door RAV4. Exterior mirrors and door handles are now body-color of a more consistent look and a new design was chosen by the steel wheels standard on EX and GX. Four new exterior colors are available – Magna Red Water, cold (blue), and British green power green.
A number of changes in detail to the new Toyota RAV4 is a fun and functional place to be. All models are treated to the fabric and fabric head support, door trim, titanium look finish on the dashboard and steering wheel turns around in a standard air bags, three-spoke sport.
The brand already has a carbon fiber model cars and automatic shifter transmission of the screen is now included. A single power sunroof replaces the manual twin / ceilings previously available on the GX three-door model. Two versions of the new site are introduced into the five-door models.
